The Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum are pleased to host Ms. Cara Abbott MSc.
She hails from the Institute For Regional Conservation. Ms. Abbott coordinates education and outreach programs. The institute is dedicated to the protection and long term management of regional diversity, endeavoring to prevent the extinction of rare regional plants, animals and ecosystems. Her work is very important when considering credible research suggesting that 1 in 4 South Florida native plant species are either critically imperiled or extinct.
Please join The Friends for this very enlightening talk.

There will be a plant giveaway and light refreshments served.

Mr. Ramos is an authority on all things mango. He’ll share his knowledge on tree selection, keeping trees pest and disease free and the best way to harvest the fruit. This is a big treat for all of you who adore mangos and those of you with a passion for fruit trees in general. Don’t miss this talk!!!!!
